Who We Are and What We Do

Limnoterra Limited provides professional consultation services in environmental sciences and its applications. The firm was incorporated in 1979 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada by Dr. R. Jon Planck. Dr. Planck has been consulting in environmental projects for 32 years.

Limnoterra Limited's staff of eleven and associates include specialists in various disciplines of biology and ecology as well as landscape architecture, planning, hydrology, hydrogeology, engineering, and wastewater management. Team members combine their skills for unique solutions to rehabilitation projects, agency reviews, research, studies, and design. Practical experience and science are combined in a holistic approach to ecological design for a broad range of projects including; roads, subdivisions, harbors, airports, parks, streams, wetlands, terrestrial systems, and lakes. This approach leads to innovative designs where both economic practicality and ecological health are satisfied.
