AdvanTex Textile filters and Intermittent Sand Filters are usually used for single family homes. A Recirculating Sand Filter is usually used for systems with larger flows such as apartment buildings, commercial, retirement homes, motels, golf courses, resorts, restaurants and campgrounds. Sand filter technology is also adaptable for subdivisions using small diameter pressure sewer mains and communal sewage treatment facilities. It is ideal for installations where a high degree of treatment is required, where site constraints make the use of conventional septic tanks impractical or impossible, and for renovations of older systems which have failed. Our equipment can be configured to provide a high degree of nitrate removal for installations which must meet Ontario's Reasonable Use Policy.
